Zookeeper battle is a swopple game like bejeweled but with a twist. Switch the animals to make matches of three or more. Make as many matches as you can in 30 seconds. All the animal matches that you make get turned int o attack and defense points. Your opponent plays. Zookeeper must maintain the park by carrying out missions while animals must prevent them utilizing violence and pure brutality. ZooKeeper can pick up objects anywhere in the zoo to prevent animals from killing him, but also lift animals to throw them away as far as possible and save time. - How do you catch animals?
Simply swap adjacent animals to match three or more of the same animals, and they’re caught!
The animals you catch make up your ATTACK and DEFENSE points.
- How do you play against other users?
Each round, you have 30 seconds to catch as many animals as possible, and the aim is to build up your ATTACK and DEFENSE enough to beat your opponent.
If your opponent's LIFE runs out… you win!
If you both have some LIFE left… one more round!
*If neither player wins after 5 rounds, the winner is whoever has more LIFE remaining.
- Your opponent has the same animal panels as you!
In every match, you and your opponent will share the exact same animal panels. Even the new ones that fall in to replace those you've caught!
This means you have to catch those critters more efficiently than your opponent. Luck doesn't come into it! Or does it? Item panels will fall in randomly. If you’re feeling lucky, victory could be yours!
If you just sit and wait for animal panels to disappear… you’re missing out!
While the animals you've caught are busy disappearing, you can be working on your next catch, and the next, and the next one after that! Chain catches together to be a true master.
- Keep your eyes open for lucky animals!

Let's learn the animals!! ANIMAL LIST First choose your avatar! Your avatar fights your opponent during battles. It does not affect the match making part of the game. Each animal is equal and no animal is strong or weaker in any way. It is your choice what animal you choose based on your preference. You cannot change your avatar so make a careful choice! Choose something that you can relate to and who represents you. Here are some photos of the animals so that you can see them in different actions to help you decide. The animals are crocodile, monkey, lion, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, panda, and bunny. All the characters are unisex but some of them are a little more boyish or girly. Zookeeper battle's style for characters is to make the animals very cute and cuddly. All the animals appear very brightly colored and happy. Meet the animals!
Crocodile! The ferocious beast of the Nile River!! Crocodile waits for his match by moving his mouth and tail up and down. Pick crocodile if you like an aggressive animal. In zookeeper battle, crocodile throws the attack balls from his mouth! Pick crocodile if your bite is bigger then your bark!
Monkey! He looks silly but he packs a mean punch! The most humanistic of animals, choose the monkey if you are a jokester. I like the way the monkey swings its arms when it is waiting for battle. During the battle, monkey uses his arms to throw the attack balls. Monkey has a pretty funny dance when he wins a match. *
Hippopotamus! Although they appear gentle, You would not believe that Hippos are one of the most deadliest creatures! It takes zookeeper battle to make the hippo look so cute! Hippo usually has his eyes closed during the game and he moves his mouth up and down while waiting. Hippo shoots attack balls from his mouth during battle. Pick hippo if people mistake you for nice but you are actually really tough! Even though the hippo is purple, this animal is not overly girly. It is a good choice for boys and girls. If you like gold, then you should pick the lion. The lion shows two cute teeth out of his mouth while he is waiting for battle. The lion appears very aggressive when he attacks in the game. The lion has a funny way of pushing his mane out and in when he wins a battle. Lion is pretty cool and I think it is the most tough looking animals in the game. This character is great for boys but it can also be used by girls if they'd like a powerful avatar as well.
It is also the biggest animal on Zookeeper Battle. It takes up a lot of space. In zookeeper, much like in real life, the elephant has long ears and a big long nose. Elephant uses his mouth to shoot attack balls. Pick elephant if you like a big somewhat silly looking animal. Giraffe! The tallest animal on the planet! When Giraffe wins, he sits up on his hind legs. The Giraffe shoots his attack balls out of his mouth! If you are tall and graceful you should be the Giraffe. Although the Giraffe looks innocent, he looks pretty fierce when he wins or fights! This animal is a good choice for both boys and girls.
If you like white and black, then panda is for you! Panda has a smile at almost all times, even when he is fighting. Panda is somewhat creepy because he is so cute and happy but he will also kill you. Panda is one of the few avatars that uses his hands to throw attack balls. Panda is a very cute animal for girls but boys can also enjoy this playful bear! Bunny! He's not just for Easter! The bunny is pink with pink rosy cheeks. The bunny is very cute and innocent looking but he can get a very evil face when he fights. The bunny has a cute way of jumping up and down when he wins! This pink and playful character is great for girls but that does not mean that it is not tough enough for boys! Bunny is the only animal that is not represented by an icon during the matching game play.
